Review the header, driver, truck, trailer, origin, destination, time, odometer, distance, cargo, notes, inspections, defects, expenses, maintenance, documents, and attachments. Daily Logs also show the duty-status timeline and event ledger.
Use detail actions carefully
- Use Edit to correct ordinary entry fields and child rows.
- Use Duplicate when a new entry is similar to the current one.
- Use Delete only when the whole entry should be removed.
- For Daily Logs, use Add event or Correct event for duty-status changes instead of editing the parent form.
If something goes wrong
- If a section is empty, edit the entry and add the missing information.
- If an attachment will not open, confirm that the file exists and the account has access to uploads.
- If duty-status events remain after an entry is deleted, remember that ELD events are designed to outlive parent entries for audit history.
