Create accurate locations
A location can include name, type, address, city, region, country, latitude, longitude, notes, favourite status, and active status. Coordinates help maps, summaries, and event locations, but they should be verified before relying on them.
- Open My Road Locations.
- Choose Add location.
- Enter a clear name, type, address, and coordinates.
- Use the map picker or reverse-geocoding support when available.
- Save and confirm that the location appears in entry autocomplete.
Reuse locations on entries and events
Use saved locations for trip origins and destinations, inspection places, expense locations, repair providers, and duty-status event locations. Favourites can help frequently used places appear faster.
If something goes wrong
- If a location is not suggested, check spelling, selected logbook, and active status.
- If a marker is misplaced, edit the coordinates and recheck affected entries.
- If reverse geocoding is blank, enter the country or region manually from a reliable source.
